About Kame Bakery

Kame means turtle in Japanese. I took this name as an homage to my grandfather and to the slow-food movement.

For me food is the powerful medium to connect people and to express my love. Sharing my baked goods with my family and friends always brings me joy.

I started my micro bakery to offer fresh, healthier snack options made with quality ingredients for everyone looking for healthier sweets options in the community.

I am trained and certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition & Culinary Training (ANACT) by Chef Divya Alter and I’m excited to share my Ayurvedic culinary experience through Kame Bakery.

Our products are:

  • 100% Plant-based (Vegan)

  • Handcrafted in small batch with quality ingredients

  • Made with natural ingredients

  • Flour: We use organic spelt or einkorn flour

  • Oil: We use organic extra virgin olive oil or virgin coconut oil

  • Sweetener: We use organic maple syrup or dates

  • Chocolate chip: We use Guittard’s fair-trade dark chocolate chip sweetened with coconuts sugar
